Weight Loss Diet Tip #11 – Carrots, Carrots, Carrots

Baby Carrots

My grand daughter is only 3, but already she knows a good snack when she sees one. One of her favorites? Carrots. Preferably baby carrots, but cut up carrot sticks will do too. And she is right, carrots are a good snack. They are perfect for when you want to crunch (lots fewer calories than potato chips!), high in fiber so they are filling, and all that Vitamin A really is good for your eyesight. And don’t forget, raw carrots are the perfect food for when you have eaten too much fatty or sugary foods. They settle your stomach and aid digestion. So keep a bag of baby carrots handy for mindless munching – munchingĀ  that helps keep us healthy and promotes weight loss too.
