Sourdough Saturday – Spiced Rye Bread

This week marks the 9th Saturday of my sourdough “series.” I can’t believe it’s taken 9 weeks to get to a rye bread recipe. My whole family loves rye bread. When I was a kid Saturday meant ham sandwiches with good rye bread (a splurge from the everyday whole wheat), sliced Swiss cheese and Raye’s mustard (still the best mustard around).
